Ratings and Reviews: 30 Dry Shampoos I Tried

You don't need water or a blowout to guarantee a good hair day. Having thick long curly hair that I often wear straight, I don't have the time to wash my hair daily. It would take me at least an hour to wash, dry, straighten....and let's face it: who has time to do that every day? Not this girl!

Dry shampoo is one of the best things that were invented in hair care! But you go to Ulta or Sephora, even to Walgreens or Walmart, and they have a ton of different types and brands. Which one should I choose? That was my dilemma!

Some are ideal for summer and anyone whose hair tends to be on the oily side. If you are one of these people, dry shampoos are a great styling product to keep your tresses looking sharp. They can give you instant volume, shine, vibrancy, and life back into your hair after a skipped day of shampooing.

Are you planning a camping trip or a road trip this summer? You'll definitely want to throw a dry shampoo in your travel bag. Whether your hair gets oily or sweaty, a quick treatment on the spot is just as easy as saying 1-2-3 and will set your hair right.

Check below my take on each brand I tried!

You wouldn’t think that there are that many
… and that’s not even all. I’ve seen seen some in other places as well so I might do another post if I try new ones. Let me know which ones you try

Dry shampoo is a life saver on busy mornings!! I don’t have time to wash my hair every day either, especially on the days where I start work at 5:30am – it’s a struggle to get out of bed, never mind washing my hair haha! Thank you for sharing this, so many dry shampoos to try out. I really want to try the Show Beauty one as my hair is super flat and I’m determined to find something that will give me a little lift!

I totally agree with what you said. Let me know what you think about the shampoo you want to try. Volume was a huge factor when reviewing these shampoos. I have thick hair but once it starts growing it tends to pull down and I need a good hair cut and a little pick me up from my styling products for volume, including dry shampoo 😃

I totally agree that dry shampoos are seriously one of the best things invented for hair! My favorites are Batiste and Dove 🙂 Can’t live without them.

Wow, I’m feeling overwhelmed from reading this list! I just started using the Dove dry shampoo and really love how it makes my hair feel. Thanks for sharing your reviews!

I started slow when I first started using the dry shampoo. One or two here and there…. but then I went to get some more… and I had no clue which one to choose. So I just grabbed all I could see. Spent a fortune… luckily my hubby didn’t see my credit card statement… but then I haven’t had to buy any in more than a year 🙂

Thanks for this post, I’ve been thinking of using dry shampoos as they can be real life savers at times, but I couldn’t decide which one to choose. Hope that now my choice will be easier! 🙂

Thanks Natalie for your comment. The struggle was real. I am down now to about 5 of them. It took me a little over a year to go through each one of them. I’ll update this as I come across some new ones I haven’t used. Also let me know if you have any questions about any of these.
